Donations Needed
Joshua Animal Services accept both monetary and pet supply donations. Monetary domations are placed into an account that can be used to pay veterinarian bills for animals that are sick or injured. We also like to offer comfort items to every pet housed in the shelter. Being in the shelter can be stressful and we strive to make their time with us as pleasant as possible.
We welcome the following tax-deductible donations:
Bedding
- Small blankets (large ones and comforters are too big for our washer)
- Kurunda Pet Beds and Pads
- Clean Towels and Washcloths (may be used)
Cleaning
- Bleach
- Dawn Dish Soap (Antibacterial preferred)
- OdoBan Concentrate (Home Depot or Lowe's)
- Flea/Tick Shampoo and Spray
- Laundry Detergent (any brand/type)
- Fabric Softener/Sheets
- Paper Towels
Miscellaneous
- Dog and cat brushes
- Pet carriers or crates
- Durable Pet Toys: tennis balls, kong toys, chew toys, etc. (please, no stuffed animals)
- Cat litter - Non Clumping
- Flea and Tick Spray
Pet Food
- 4Health/Purina One (or similar) style wet dog food
- Pate' Style Wet Cat Food - Purina One or 4Health (or similar)
- Dog treats and cat treats
- Peanut Butter
