Public Works/Utilities
Public Works is comprised of 3 divisions:
- Streets
- Drainage
- Public Right of Ways
Water and Sewer is provided by the Johnson County Special Utilities District.
Responsibilities
Public Works provides the following services:
- Pothole repair
- Major street patching, milling, and grinding
- Level lifting of the pavement to eliminate standing water
- Alley grading
- Crack sealing
- Fallen tree removal
- Shoulder maintenance
- Street repair
- Street reconstruction
