Meet the Assistant City Manager

Amber Bransom, Assistant City Manager

Native to Johnson County, Amber Bransom began serving as Assistant City Manager on April 5, 2021. Prior to employment with the City of Joshua, Bransom worked as Director of Human Resources for the City of Keene serving the organization for three years.

Her core focus is to serve the residents of Joshua through exceptional customer service, provide data-driven decision-making, and leading an employee-first culture.

Bransom earned a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Tarleton State University. She is a member of the Texas City Manager Association, Society for Human Resource Management, Texas Municipal Human Resources Association, and the International Public Management Association for Human Resources.

Bransom is happily married to her husband Joseph. They are the proud parents of two wonderful children, Elizabeth and Reed.
