Cleanup Opportunities
2022 City Wide Clean-ups:
The Spring City Wide Clean-Up will be April 29, 30, and May 1, 2022, from 7 am to 6 pm.
The Fall City Wide Clean-up will be October 21-23, 2022 from 7 am to 6 pm.
The Joshua City Wide Clean-Up drop-off location is 1080 S Broadway St. and Plum (formerly Mountaineer Rd).
Residents will be required to show proof of residency with a current trash bill. Only one (1) load per residence will be accepted. Should you have any questions, please contact Kristin Hubacek @ 817.558.7447.
Garage Sale Permit Fees will be waived during the City-Wide Cleanup Events
Only residents of the City are permitted to dump. Must provide current trash bill to dump.
Tires and Batteries are accepted with a $5 environmental fee.
Acceptable Items Include:
Household Trash
Brush Boxes
Wood Metal
Fencing Construction Debris
Old Bicycles Appliances w/o compressor
Furniture
Things not accepted:
Paint Ammunition
Asbestos Hazard Waste
Petroleum Products Compressors
Chemicals, Dirt, or Bricks
Location: Park and Ride Facility-1009 Joshua Station Blvd.
Date: April 30, 2022-Time: 9 am till 11 am
A voucher must be purchased at Joshua City Hall. The cost is $50.00
(First 20 vouchers issued by the city are free)
Acceptable Items:
Acids, aerosol cans, antifreeze, batteries, brake fluid, cooking oil, craft chemicals, degreasers, drain cleaner, fertilizer, fluorescent light bulbs, herbicides, household chemicals, motor oil, paints & stains, paint thinners, pest strips, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, photo chemicals, pool chemicals, oil filters, transmission fluid, and varnish.
Collection Events
- Leave products in original, marked containers. If unlabeled, please label contents clearly.
- Place leaking containers in a second container of like material (glass for corrosives, metal for flammables).
- Place items securely in boxes or bins (no trash bags) in the trunk of the car or bed of pickup.
- Remain in the vehicle and allow staff to unload waste.
