SMOKE TESTING IN SANITARY SEWER – MOUNTAIN VALLEY
As part of an ongoing effort to maintain the sanitary sewer service Tri- Star Pipe Inspection, working in Conjunction with Johnson County Special Utility District, will be conducting smoke testing on the sewer mains in Mountain Valley to locate sources of rainwater inflow and infiltration. The work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 11th, 2016 with work crews in the area for approximately three days from 9am-3:30pm. The smoke seen coming from the vent stacks on houses, holes in the ground is non toxic,non staining, almost odorless, white to grey in color and creates no fire hazard. The smoke should not enter a residence unless the customer plumbing has defects, for this reason Johnson County Special Utility District will be notifying residence of the work being done in Mountain Valley by means of IVR messaging.
