Volunteers needed for stormwater cleanup project
The City of Joshua is seeking volunteers to assist with a clean-up event on Saturday, December 5th. The cleanup, a required project for the city’s Storm Water Management Program, will be held from 10 am until 3 pm. The project site will be between Star Pawn (506 N. Broadway) and Joshua Christian Academy (510 N. Broadway).
Volunteers are asked to wear work attire (long sleeve shirts) and bring the following: work gloves; eye protection; all-weather boots/shoes; rakes; shears; and, chainsaws.
A hot-dog lunch will be provided for volunteers.
