The Human Resources Department is responsible for the decisions and activities involving human resources that are intended to influence the effectiveness of the employees of the City. Specific activities that integrate human resources with the overall effectiveness of the City include the following: administration of policy, staffing, development, employment relations, compensation and benefits, evaluations, risk management, and compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
