Full-Time Public Works Crew Member

The City of Joshua invites qualified individuals to apply for the position of Public Works Crew Member.  Duties include assisting in maintenance and repair of city streets, drainage cleaning, and building and grounds maintenance.

High School diploma or GED required.  Valid Class C Texas driver’s license & Class B CDL required.  Some construction-related experience is preferred with knowledge of backhoe, crack sealer, dump truck, front-end loader, jackhammer & various hand tools.

THE JOSHUA POLICE DEPARTMENT IS ACCEPTING APPLICATION FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

POLICE OFFICER

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and must hold a current Peace Officer Certification through Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).

Joshua Police Officers enforce state and municipal laws in a city with a growing population of approximately 7,000 on the southern side of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.  Officers assist victims of crime, respond to disturbances, investigate offenses, enforce traffic laws, investigate crashes, and partner with the community to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors.

Salary:

  • $36,000 Basic
  • $39,600 Intermediate
  • $41,400 Advanced

POLICE OFFICER RECRUIT

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and will be trained in the Police Academy.
