City of Joshua Police Department Application
Patrol Officer/Full-Time
Compensation: $33,344 – $42,556 per year DOQ
The job description of a Patrol Officer for the City of Joshua is to enforce any and all laws of the State of Texas, ordinances of the City of Joshua, patrol residential areas, patrol and check businesses, prevent crime, issue citations, investigate all calls for service, and appear in court when required.
Education, training, experience:
Must be at least 21 years old; possess a Basic Certification issued by TCLEOSE, High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be of good moral character. Must pass background investigation, polygraph test (if required), medical exam, and psychological exam. Must pass oral interview, physical fitness test and a written test.
- Must be TCLEOSE certified.
