Johnson County Commissioners enacted a county-wide burn ban on July 14, 2008. The ban prohibits all outdoor burning of any combustible material. It is in effect for 90 days, or until October 13th, unless recinded by the Commissioners. It is a Class C misdemeanor for persons to knowingly or intentionally violate the burn ban. For further information please call the Joshua Fire Department at 817-558-4141.
