Early Voting for the May 8, 2010 General Election begins on Monday, April 26, 2010 and continues thru Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Early Voting will be conducted at Joshua City Hall, 101 S. Main St., Joshua, TX. The hours for Early Voting will be 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. There will be 2 days for extended hours and those days are:
Monday, April 26th – 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 28th – 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Election Day will be May 8, 2010 at the Joshua Community Room, 907 S. Broadway and the polls will be open 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
These will be the polling locations for City Elections only. The Senate race, ESD and any County Elections will not be located in these locations.Â
Please remember to bring your Voters Registration Card or your Driver’s License.

Are you interested in participating on a City Board or Commission? After the General Election, which will be held on May 8th, there will be openings on several of the Boards/Commisions for the City of Joshua. It’s the involvement of the citizens that makes us a great City. If you are interested in serving on a Board or a Commission I have attached the application form. Please complete and submit to the City Secretary. Thanking you in advance for your interest. Board/Commission Application Form
There is a new menu item on the right titled “Garbage/Recycling Information” for your review. It will tell you what can be set out at the curb, what can be recycled, what can’t be recycled, the holiday pickup schedule and when the next City of Joshua clean up is. If you have any questions click on that menu item, if the information you are looking for is not there please call 817-558-7447.
