Sealed Bids for the construction of the City Park will be accepted until 2:00 P.M. March 25, 2010. Sealed Bids are to be received at Joshua City Hall, 101 S. Main Street, Joshua Texas 76058. 14th Street will be closed on Tuesday March 23, 2010 at 8:30 am. for repairs. The street will re-open that aternoon once completed.

The City of Joshua will be conducting a “Spring Clean-Up” on March 26-28, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

• Please present a current garbage bill for proof of residency before disposing of your items.
• There will be a $5.00 charge for disposal of tires and batteries.
• Car parts, paint, chemicals, or any appliance with a compressor (refrigerators or air conditioners) will not be accepted.
• Loads of dirt, rocks and /or concrete will not be accepted.

To ensure a smooth traffic flow, please enter on 6th Street and after disposing of items exit on 10th Street.

The Joshua Type A EDC Board Meeting scheduled for March 8, 2010 has been cancelled due to a lack of agenda items.

The Joshua City Council will conduct a public hearing in order to obtain public input regarding an application for a gas well permit located in the W. P. Gentry Survey, Abstract #307, Tract 9, Johnson County, Texas more commonly known as 1156 N. Main Street.  The public hearing will be held at the City Council Chambers, 101 S. Main Street, Joshua, Texas, 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010.
