On Friday, October 30, 2009 children can Trick-or-Treat from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at:

 City Hall – 101 S. Main

Police Department – 102 S. Main

 Animal Shelter – 100 Santa Fe from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Also, on Monday, November 2, 2009 non-perishable food donations can be taken to:

Citizens Police Academy Information

The City of Joshua Police Department will hold the first ever Citizens Police Academy. The Citizens Police Academy starts classes January 12, 2010 and is a ten week learning opportunity where citizens of Joshua can gain working knowledge of the Joshua Police Department’s personnel and operations.  There will also be an opportunity to learn about general operatons of the City as a whole.  The goal of this program is to build trust and rapport between the Citizens of our community and their Police Deparmtnet, as well as provide understanding of what exactly the Police Department does and personal interaction with each officer.  Citizens will gain an appreciaiton and understanding of the problems and challenges of their community as well as the problems and challenges law enforcement officers face today.

Early Voting Information for Bond Election to be held on November 3, 2009

Early Voting for the November 3, 2009 Bond Election will begin on Monday, October 19, 2009 thru October 30, 2009.  Early voting will be conducted at Joshua City Hall, 101 S. Main, Joshua, Texas.  The days for extended hours for Early Voting will  be:

Monday, October 19, 2009 – 7:00 a.m. thru 7:00 p.m.

Monday, October 26,2009 – 7:00 a.m. thru 7:00 p.m.

Remember to bring your voter registration card or drivers license.
