The City of Joshua will be conducting a “Summer Clean-Up” on July 10-12, 2009 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. 

1.   Proof of residency will be required.

2.  There will be a $5.00 charge for disposal of tires and batteries.

3.  Car parts, paint, chemicals, or any appliance with a compressor (refrigerators or air conditioners) will not be accepted.

To ensure a smooth traffic flow, please enter on 6th Street and after disposing of items exit on 10th Street.

Voting for the General Election to be held on May 9, 2009 will be conducted at the Joshua Community Room located at 907 S. Broadway, Joshua, Texas.  The polls will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.  Remember to bring either your voter registration card or your drivers license.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED ANNEXATION

“The City Council of the City of Joshua, Texas will conduct public hearings on the 19^th day of May, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. and on the 21^st day of May, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Joshua City Hall located at 101 South Main Street, Joshua, Texas 76058 where all interested persons will have the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Joshua, Texas of approximately 50 acres of land.  The area proposed to be annexed comprises a portion of the Cooper Valley subdivision and some adjacent tracts, and is located east of the City, on the south side of FM Road 917, contiguous to the current city limits of Joshua, Texas, in the City’s exclusive extraterritorial jurisdiction.  A map of the area proposed for annexation is available at City Hall.”
