City Emergency Management Officials are continually monitoring reports of suspected “Swine Flu” cases within the City. Reports that cases have been confirmed in Joshua are false. City Staff are receiving regular updates from the State Operations Center on cases that are confirmed, and that information is being forwarded to Joshua ISD officials. Any information on confirmed “Swine Flu” cases within the City of Joshua, or the Joshua ISD will be reported on the City website, as well as the Joshua ISD website. A link to the school website is provided on this site. Again, currently no cases of “Swine Flu” or suspected “Swine Flu” have been reported to city or school officials.
The Rabies Clinic scheduled for May 2, 2009 has been cancelled. The Clinic will be rescheduled at a later date. Information on a new date will be posted as it becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

City Hall will be closed on Friday, April 10, 2009 in observance of Good Friday. We will resume regular hours on Monday, April 13, 2009. Staff would like to wish everyone a safe and happy easter.
Caddo Street will be closed on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. This will be in effect for the portion of Caddo that is in the city limits, only as far as to where the county portion begins.
The warning sirens in the City of Joshua will be tested on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. This will only be a test.
