Garbage pickup in the City of Joshua will remain on the same schedule for 2008. Garbage is collected from Joshua residents’ homes Tuesdays and Fridays between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. All garbage must be placed at curbside by 7:00 a.m. to insure pick-up for the day. Holiday weeks may only have one garbage pick-up day.
The City of Joshua recommends that residents put out their garbage bags and containers for pick-up as close as possible to the 7:00 a.m. deadline to minimize interference with the garbage by animals. The city also requests that residents retrieve any garbage containers as soon as possible after pick-up to prevent potential hazards and other damage from empty containers blowing into the streets.
Residents can call IESI at 817.222.2221 with any additional service questions or information requests.
