Many citizens have probably read the notices in the paper regarding the City of

Joshua’s intent to issue Certificate of Obligation bonds in the amount of $775,000, and several citizens have received a flier that is being distributed regarding this issue. The public notice that appeared in the newspaper includes language that is required by State law and Security and Exchange Commission requirements which is intended to clarify for the public the reason the debt is being issued and how it will be repaid, but, unfortunately, this language creates some confusion. The information in the following link is intended to help clarify this issue. Message re COs Please contact City Hall at 817-558-7447 if you have additional questions.
